Panel Discussion

Markets across the continent were booming before the crisis with many GW of projects being developed without subsidies. We have also seen firm commitments to renewables from governments in Italy, Portugal and Ireland though the support mechanisms differ and the UK committed to Net-Zero ahead of its scheduled hosting of the COP summit. This session will update the audience on what happens now:

  • How has investor appetite changed?
  • Are we going to see an increased interest in the space as oil prices remain low?
  • Is there enough support across the continent to utilise renewables as a vital boost to the economy?
  • How will energy demand play out in the short term?
